I remember thinking "man you'd have to be crazy to pay $5,000 for a SS Rolex diver". Now they sell for that on the second hand market! At least the bracelet is nicer, I guess.

At least it looks like a trend happening here, you should be able to get back your original investment if you can hold on for 10+ years, i hope Tudor shares the same fate 10 years from now.
Im guessing 5k is how much a SS sub costed 10 years ago. |

I seem to recall them costing 5K around 5 years ago. I could be a little off though.

do you guys think that in a year Pelagos and black bay will be available for 25-30% off the msrp in pre-owned condition which brings the price to $2900 for Pelagos and $3150 for the Black bay

Not sure why this was dug up from two years ago, but might as well chip in with 2014 info. I tried on the Pelagos and Blue Bay at a Honolulu AD last week, and think they were $4125 and $3425, respectively. FWIW loved the Pelagos, thought the Black Bay was a little too thick. Had it been in a sub case with tapered Oyster bracelet might have picked it up.

It's all about what people are willing to pay. Personally, there isn't a chance of me shelling out anything near retail - much less ABOVE retail |

But it's not hard to fathom, not that many get to the states, and there's a lot of demand as its new, different, and very cool, people like and want them at the moment. |

I believe it's the 2894, which is the 2892 with the DD chrono module.
Mine is -2 sec/day so far.

Picked up a brand new Tudor Blue Black Bay for $3750.00 back in July, in Canada.
