I think the rubber adds a little more contrast against the SS casing, and its also very versatile to wear on different types of outfits. |

I love the 15400 but don't consider it either casual or rugged. Scratches easily.

I visited the AD today, tried on the Diver but now I also like the Safari as well. Man decisions decisions. I think I'll need to go back again and try a few more. :) here's some pics from today. Thanks for all the help.

Brace yourself....I too just went down this path.
Ended up with both. Like them both for different reasons. You won't be disappointed with either. Too me (Diver + Safari) it's a great "1-2" AP combo! |

Either way is a great to dip your toe into the AP brand! Please see my attached "sub par" wrist shot. While I LOVE my Safari - right out of the box I found the Diver a little more comfortable on the wrist. As I get deeper into the brand I really find they have a unique watch for almost every occasion...Sport/diver, casual dress, elegant and "Grail" - just search 44mm Rose Gold. |

I have a 6.5" wrist. Tried on the 15400 in Vegas earlier in the year. Felt a bit large. I am guessing the Diver will wear larger than my Pam 111?
I may have to scour for a 15300 some day. |

I think now it's between the diver, safari or panda. The more I look at these watches, the longer the list gets. Dammit.

i guess between diver, safari, panda. i'd go for panda because of it's contrast and the way it looks.

Got my diver about a year ago, having trouble now deciding between the 15400 or Chrono in white/silver. Afraid the 15400 dial is kinda similar to my diver but the chrono is also similar to my black daytona. Also, considering a Bvlgari chrono sprint endurer on bracelet, really like the shape and price is decent. But, please someone talk me out of it as I don't really like the brand for a timepiece.
