The reserve was not met in the original Ebay auction. Bidding never exceeded $15,101 USD. Now he is trying to sell it through Antiquorum. Maybe it will sell this time, considering he's sweetened the pot with his race jumpsuit!

Very real .
The watch itself is a run of the mill 116520 with regular warranty documents . It is Rolex USA that has the case back engraved and upgrades the box to the " master pieces " box . Were you to inquire with Rolex SA in Geneva they would not be able to confirm if this watch was indeed issued to the race winner , only Rolex USA could confirm this . |
