I guess that's an interesting story. No pictures though so it just seemed boastful.

I just missed another great deal today because I was busy asking questions instead of buying. Maybe that's a good thing! Still on the search for a Sub. Cheers!

I like this guy Kobayashi.......he subscribes to the "he who dies w/ the most watches wins" theory!
Congrats on your fleet acquisitions.

well I dont know him, so I'd assume buying 3 watches in 3 weeks is very possible,
if he's purchased 3 Previously enjoyed rolex's at a decent price from a dealer/shop or private
We're talking about only 15-18k
By the looks a lot of people here on TRF can afford watches 20-60k on the spot.

So why not believe him,

I think the "pics or it didnt happen" posts are jokingly saying "congrats" and also "can we see your new watches". Im not sure if anyone is really doubting him

I tried editing my first post to include the pictures buy maybe I'm banned??? :).

Anyway, here's what I have so far. The DJ 1601 was already in the collection prior to joining TRF. And a GMT is on it's way! Looking at a Sub now as I let a great deal go yesterday. Also, I purchased these from TRF sellers where there's feedback in the who's who section :). These aren't the most expensive out there but they caught my eye! Cheers!

I've been waiting to buy my first for a long time, life situations keep popping up and pushing it back, but I am obsessed already and have come close to being irresponsible, but can wait, imguess

Nice! After I acquired my first Rolex, I kept looking at more. But I found it helpful to stop and evaluate if each purchase met my expectations for what I had hoped to achieve/gain, whether it be utility, satisfaction, attention, prestige, status, individuality, conformity, investment value, etc. Practical considerations other than opportunity cost include the annoying lack of winder space that ensues.
