I love being able to look at a wrist and see weather it's a SD or Sub or even a fake bye seeing the finish or the side of the ss oyster bracelet.. On a Sub they are never polished the sides of the Oyster bracelet and on the SD they are, and you can tell just bye the cyclops, If it has a cyclops and a finished side of its Oyster bracelet it's most likely suspect !!!! If it has no cyclops with it Oyster bracelet having polished sides it's a Sea-Dweller!! It's all in the details!! Lol

Bracelet as well. Typically the cyclops is then the confirmation.

Agreed..
Firstly the oyster or jubilee bracelet (or the PCL) Then the bezel (colour/srtyle) And then look for a cyclops |

Been travelling on buis this week and saw plenty in Houston. Funny thing is, I NEVER see a pilot with a GMT MASTER. And I always look.

Cyclops first clue (unless diver when it could be 14060M so I then look at the details of the bezel (lines only between 0-15, etc.).
Lots of homages sport cyclops, so the next step is the bracelet and then case design. Jubilee and Oyster copies are a dime a dozen, so as above posters note, it drills down to the attention to detail. Agree with many above: A true Rolex looks brighter, reflects better, and generally stands out more than most others. |

Bracelet and bezel gives it away for me. I don't want this to turn into a discussion on replica watches but for actually telling if it's real it's basically impossible nowadays if it's a real reproduction and not a "canal street Rolex...". That's one reason I don't comment on others watches.

bracelet for sure, like others have mentioned the polish and fit/finish stands out more than watches priced less than $4-8k (ROLEX OR TUDOR).
