Here's mine. Hand made by Horace Batten, Northampton family bootmakers where Mr Batten senior must now be close to 100yrs of age but is still active in the workshop.

Wow, Some great looking boots here.
I've had many pairs of Dr Martins and Sperry's and also some great Red Wing steel toed boots for when I worked back at the Boron Borax open pit mine.
I am needing a nice pair before winter starts, something fashionable and warm and dressy but not too polished.
Thanks for all the input. Cheers!

I think its probably fair to say that in Australia RM Williams boots are regarded as the general purpose 'boot of choice'. Originally designed by an ex-stockman for stockmen, they have become an urban legend, worn by prime ministers in the parliament as well as working men in the stockyard for their everyday footwear.
There IS a protocol however, and the black boots are generally regarded as 'indoors' wear whilst the brown boots are worn 'outdoors'. If you turn up in the bush wearing black boots, working men will think you are a 'shiney-bum' or 'city-slicker'.

Wow, some great looking boots here. I wear boots daily at work...but they consist of the sage green suede type. They sure are comfortable, but I would not call them a fashion statement.

Finally, after a few months, I have chosen a few pair of boots for the winter.
As I do not have a job outside the house I really don't need that many pairs of shoes, but I really wanted a few pair of boots for the weekends.
So, here they are. A suede pair of Prada ankle boots and a big a** pair of Hugo Boss fur lined heavy leather boots.
Thanks for all the input.
This concludes our broadcast!
Cheers all!
