I like the stick dial as well for its simple, classic look.

On a purely personal note, I'm not used to "4" being represented as "IIII" in Roman numerals as opposed to "IV" (even though I know this is the standard representation on watches). This idiosyncrasy of mine is icing on the cake for me going with the sticks.

No.2 is far more classic - a perfect Rolex for every day in my opinion.

No doubt romans every day for me over sticks, without question. I like both the white / rhodium... and not shown I do like black/blue. Favorite is the rhodium, and I have one.

I think you need 16 posts and be registered for at least 16 day period. They have the rules in a sticky in that forum

The white roman dial is my favorite, and what I have, so that one gets my vote!

I do really like the white stick dial as well so that is my second choice!

Not crazy about the rhodium roman dial....too monotone for me.

I like them all but it's a personal decision. You have to ask yourself which one you like. Bottom line is you must be happy with it.

I like number 2 but pick the one that sings to you the most. I have an oyster with the sticks, it's easy to read and very classic. Have fun deciding and early congrats on your first Rolex.

I must have lumed hands to read the time after coming in from the light into a dark room, so #2.

I'm envious of your access to such a generous AD. Stopped by Dallas AD yesterday -- no discount under $10K, 5% above. pfft. The 3 yrs xtra warranty and cleaning at 5 yrs you're getting is worth real $$.

Your AD generates sales and loyal customers. Mine helps me confirm what I want to buy from a trusted seller here.

Thanks for the input. I'm leaning heavily towards number 2. I'll probably pick it up today or tomorrow.

I have a #3 and I still love it to this day. All are great choices but the rhodium silver shines very well in the sun.
