Thanks, Bo!

Orange isn't my favorite color, either, for some reason (un-beastly of me, I know...). Never has been. But, I liked the formerly silver-colored (WG?) lightning bolt hand of yesteryear and feel the GG version with the black face looks great. The layout of that dial is great, and I really like the WG coronet, too.

I'm beginning to think the Daytona will have some competition for collector's status. Much anticipation, here. That red looks grand on the Daytona, though, JMO!

That is very cool. love how Rolex, even though they are more of a "luxury" manufacturer (really because no one needs a mechanical watch anymore) still over-engineers the HELL out of their watches.

It is interesting to note the "B" marking on the inner caseback.
"B" is the scientific symbol for magnetic flux density.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_flux_density
The arrow (also on the inner caseback) would appear to be and indication of the direction of the magnetic field.
DAMN that is cool

I might just have to bin this for the green sapphire crystal

Steve my Milgauss is 1968-9 and it still performs satisfactorily.....but it doesn't have a green sapphire and it isn't 40mm.
However, it is vintage and at 37mm the case isn't too small Vintage watches do have their attractions.
