Have the old one and tried the new new one quite a few times..I have a GMT 2c and did not like it when i first purchased it. but after a few times it does grow on you and I think the same will happen with the new Sub-C..the only thing I probably can't seem to get over is the sudden taper between the case and the bracelet..

Exactly! I have both and love them both equally, so they don't get jealous!

I'm very much a fan of the new Sub. I like the maxi dial, maxi case, bracelet and glidelock, ceramic bezel. I've always liked new things and this is no exception. I know some like the older version more but I'm not one of them.

New. Take a look at both old (16610) and new (116610) at different angles from 10-20 feet away. Very little glare from the SubC, and very nice looking from far away.
Anyone else noticed this?

I love them both! Vintage Subs are the benchmarks for dive watch design. And to my eyes they just radiate a warmth that is unequaled. The new Subs simply ooze quality and they take the original design into the 21st century.

I love everything about the sub c over the 16610 except the wide lugs.

This one issue is enough to make it a close call for me, but my vote goes to the sub c.

What are the differences between 16610 and 116610?

I know the material the bezel is made of is different, but what else is different between the 16610 and 116610? I ask because I found an AD with a New 16610 and am trying to decide between that and the 116610.

I had both and eventually sold the ceramic version because i can get used to the thick lug and crown guard.

I love my 16610 but I would prefer the glidelock bracelet. I wonder if rolex will offer it in time for a replacement for the 16610.
