LOL, former owners! I do not think they exist. From the photos posted here of the 422, you can see why. Cheers!

422 retail is $11,200 usd but don't expect any discount since it is just starting to pop up at ADs.
The 372 can be found bnib in the secondary market around $8,500 although retail is around 10.5 I think.
I absolutely LOVE both and keep going back and forth on which I like more.

if u really like the 372 go for it! dont let the plexy glass thingy stop u, plexy glass is prone to scratches but can be fix thru buffing, i have (4) watches with plexy they all suffered and beeen fixed many times -- no problemo

but sapphire glass of my tudor watch had a chip on the sides of the glass and cant be fixed only to replaced it with a new one

follow yor heart on the 372 (it comes with EXTRA Plexy in the box),

i love my 372 no regrets

I have a 372 and would grab a 422 if given the chance to buy one.

Same here. Give it a year and 422's will start showing up in the for sale section. That is when I will make a move. Hard to find 422's right now.

Hmmm, should I keep both?

Sorry, I prefer the 372... Because of plexi glass, and also because the 422, though its 47mm, lacks the "9" on its dial.
My 2-cent opinion.

One of my favorite Panerai reference. 1950 case, moving second hand, sapphire front and back, power reserve indicator on the back, checks all of my requirements.

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

That said, I just bought one this year and love it. The 1950's case is what brought me over to Panerai.

Sent from my iPad (so I blame autocorrect for the spellin' errs)
