I'd probably go with the TT. As you know, the Ceramic GMT has some "green" on it so I would think the TT would make your collection slightly more diverse.
Have you considered looking at older models? You may be able to get a used TT and LV Submariner for the same price as one new one! If this is a consideration, it's probable the route I would take.

I would say the 116613 since you don't have a two tone in your collection. To me, you need to have a very diverse collection to get the LVc as to me it is not an everyday piece unless you are the green lantern or wear nothing but green/black clothes. Don't get me wrong I love the piece.
Tough decision! let us know your choice. |

liked the bluesy better than the TT smurf.... but also said the same thing about the kermit and the HULK.... now, i am drooling over the HULK! the TT smurf is also singing now!!!!!!
tough choice... there are some guys that say tool watches should be in SS... i think there's some truth to it... if you subscribe to this, then LVC is the way to go then.... but somehow, i am closet TT fan! so TT smurf gets my vote! such a sweet predicament man! |

Thanks for all of your comments. I'm still going back and forth. I have tried both watches on. I love the blue stainless and gold combo a lot, but the dial on the hulk is sensational. I wish the blue dial would have the same effect as the green one does. I really don't mind that the green will not technically "match" with a lot of my wardrobe. To sound off on some else's comment, I love the ceramic models a lot, so going with the older style ones and getting both at the same time probably wouldn't be my route of choice. I will more than likely end up with both in the near future, but for the nearest future I still don't know which one to get. I will probably try them both on again at the AD and take pics and see what you guys think.
Thanks for all the help! |

i think it's more of a personal preference, i had a DJ TT jubilee since the 90's..in the early 2000, i bought myself a GMT2 for a change. I didn't like it much coz i felt the SS is kinda bland and just place it in my drawer, until it was stolen. I switched back to my DJ, and had a lot of fun with it. 4 years ago, i bought myself a 16613LB, and liked it alot. I never use my DJ again that i gave it to my brother. I am a businessman, so maybe i might prefer something with gold. I just deposited for a 116610LV yesterday, hoping to like a SS...the 116613LB was a tempting watch since my AD gave me only 1,700usd difference from the LVc. Some people don't feel comfortable in a SS, some are... , i'm not comfortable in a SS, but i will be trying it again, it might be different with the "hulk". Good Luck.

if you are getting them both in the near future, might as well go with the hulk, it might just be here for a time, but the 116613LB will be around even if the 116610LV isn't.

Go green, looks great. Can't say I particularly like the Rolex shade of blue, I prefer the blue on the PO LM Ti.

I was very tempted with the Hulk but it will be my first and only Rolex (for some time) the worry of the coordination of the green with clothes will push me towards the black Sub c. However if I had your watch collection I'd get the Hulk in a heartbeat! Beautiful watch!

Hulk
I have both the green and the black. If I had to pick which one I liked the best it would be the green. The ceramic on the green is stunningly beautiful.http://www.rolexforums.com/images/smilies/agree.gif
