I recently sold my 425 even though it has one of the most beautiful dials I've ever seen. Only reason for selling it was the size...........I'm hoping one day, Panerai makes the same watch in a 44mm size.
If your wrist can handle it, go with the 425........its a stunning looking timepiece!!!! |

It even looks good with a lousy strap. The plexi is no problem. Polywatch takes care of that. Besides, there is one spare plexi coming with the watch. High numbers, compared to what, Rolex? :-) |

The 372 and 425's gold hands look great with certain lighting conditions. My next PAM will be a Radiomir with gold hands.

Another pic of the 372's dial/hands. I like the different colors of the numerals/markers vs brand font vs the hands.

I'd say the 233. I owned a 372 but it proved to be a bit too large for my 6.5 wrist. 44mm is the most I'd ever do again. Good luck.

Recently tried the 233 and it certainly did not live up to my expectations .. I expected more in looks and wrist appeal from a watch with 15000 dollar price tag.
The 424 and 425 blew the 233 right out ... Gorgeous dials, supremely comfortable and great wrist presence. My answer : 425. Plexi bugs me too much and 422 does not look right in the pics .. Still have go try it in person though. |

Yeah, I own a 372 and I would add 422 to the mix as well. Love the 233 but never got around to buying it as other pieces always seem to catch my eye every year. It does seem like the perfect watch. 44mm, 8 day PR, Domed crystal. I might have just talked myself into one!!!

the beautiful watches come out every year, so you will see and think that there's only the manual first in house movement with 8 day PR and three barrels (usually run up to 9-10 day PR) will be last forever ever?

What about the 317? :-)
I do think 44mm is a much better size for a daily wearer, but I just don't like the look of the PR-tang on the 233, it breaks the balance of the interface. The 372 is the best looking modern era Panerai bar none. 422 is obviously a bit more practical... |

Put an order for a 233 as I thought the 372 would be too big but after trying it on the 233 just didn't seem all that and the dial is just too busy. So I'm now the proud owner of a 372!! :D
