If your grouping is set with a purpose...I say gold GMT, Pepsi or Rootbeer.

No to GMT, SUB, DD, Skydweller, Explorer I or II.
There is not a reason for how the watches are lined up. Should be here by noon but I have a kids bday party to attend so it will be after 2 before pics arrive. Thanks for all the awesome responses and compliments. |

Incoming! Pictures included!
Without further delay, he are the pics. Good try on the guessing! To me this is the quintessential rolex. It is the one most think of when the word Rolex comes to mind. It is the watch that started my fascination with Rolex as I admired my father's TT Datejust. Always wanted one but I can't explain why it took so long to add this one. I essentially feel my collection is complete! Thanks for all the compliments.

Congrats Rick; you are absolutely correct -- the quintessential Rolex and a classic and IMO, one of the nicest combinations! Wear it in the best of health

I never seen that coming since you already had a Date Just in your collection. However not like this one. Looks great! Never owned Rolex with a jubilee band. How does it wear/feel on the wrist compared to your others? Which do you prefer? Congrats again. Looks great! Classic

Thanks EA!
Samuel, I know it surprised the forum but my wife took over my SS DJ so I was longing for one. It is very comfortable and would compare it to my YM, Daytona and DD. The new jubilee bracelet makes it even better. The silver dial is what my father had on his DJ. Funny, he spent a little over 300 dollars in the early 60's compared to what they cost now! Will post a pic with the DJ in the box. |

I was hoping for the choc Daytona or YG GMT but if this is what you want to finish your collection then good for you.
