Here's my 'variety' shot. Not necessarily apples-to-apples, but you get it.

Classic looking dweller

More wrist presence in person as well.

Since I am having my Sub C , my favourite for 25 yrs, GMT Ii has not had any wrist time because of the small markers.
Considering to use a GMTC dial for that watch now.....

I go back and forth between these two. When I put on 16613 it looks weird at first, but then I realize it would look ridiculous with a maxi dial and it would ruin the beautiful blue dial.

I love both maxi and normal dial. I've been wearing Sub LV for a few days and the maxi dial really adds too the 'chunky' look and feel. I swapped to Sea Dweller this morning and the clean dial looks beautiful.

It's amazing the difference the maxi dial and thicker hand make to the look of the watch. Even though the difference is mm's the look and feel change fundamentally. Both dials have their place, and I love them both........

Love the lv sub! The maxi dial really makes it pop along with the green bezel.

The size is large enough to make a difference and make it a bit easier to see.

It's not large enough however to ruin the beauty of the ones that I have that do not have a maxi dial.

IMHO both maxi and "regular" are very nice. Maxi dials suits the beefier case. I like the classic case more though.
