The second hand doesn't act as such for this watch? I was considering this watch, but kind of bothers me that is doesn't move.

Thanks Dan. I feel like every picture I see that second hand is sitting on the 12. So you can just press the button and let that baby go to count seconds?

Sure, but some say it adds premature wear running the chrono hand constantly. Some others say the wear is minimum at best.
Do what works best for you.

Looks even better in Dan's pix than on the Tudor website. I assume the bracelet is solid links like newer oyster?

Also, what do you Tudor guys think of the new Fast Rider Chrono? That one has kind of caught my eye, but wondering if I should wait to see if re-entry into US brings any other chrono options.

Wear it in good health!

Yes, the bracelet is solid construction with an amazing clasp.

Tried on the Fast Rider while in Milan last year. Very nice.

Good info and pix. Thanks.

I am most partial to the white dial Fast Rider with Leather Strap, but always find steel bracelets fit me better. The leather strap on the Prince Chrono I bought on Friday shifts the watch away from me which is kind of annoying. Perhaps it will be better when it breaks in more.

BTW...what is the valve (?) on the left side for? I know the red crown thing is for some sort of adjustment of it, but don't know the function. Please explain.

Ciao!

The first Fast Rider pic has a silver dial, don't think it comes in white. It does come with a Oyster style bracelet though.
The valve is a quickset date button.

Any competent watchmaker can do it. Not sure of the cost but it's just a cyclops, UV sensitive glue, UV lighting, a steady hand and a good eye helps also.
