Mik has a set of gold hands on order for me. No plans to have them installed anytime soon though, just want to have the option available.

It will be early next week before wrist pics are posted, waiting on the correctly sized screwdriver to arrive so I can change straps.

Easy only because Mik had previously already done the legwork to find a source.

The black hands are a nice change from my 312's & 372's, might just keep it as is. I'm hoping a 47mm base Rad equivalent of the 372..... basically an in-house 232 with exhibition back & plexi will become an option soon.

I think it is only a matter of time. That said, it still won't be a thin and sexy 232!!! ;-)

Agreed, I love the 232 but couldn't pass up on the 210's price. That & I figured 45mm would be a better call for a watch intended for wear with a suit. Also, my gut tells me $4500 BNIB 210's are going to be a thing of the past very soon. A 47mm gold handed Rad WILL be mine eventually though.

I have quickly learned that Rad strap changes take a bit of time & patience so I will not be doing a trial fit for each of my 26mm ammo straps. Would love to hear opinions on which would be the best combo.

Group shot, all Panerai these days... for the first time since getting into watches back in 07 I now find myself Rolexless & I can honestly say... I don't miss any of them at all.

Great collection of straps and watches, Allen

And a good strong transparent tape must be your first tool because safety always comes first.

From the above pic i would go with the third from the right first and the 74 second.

I also think that the 210 is for more dress up situations and i would looking for some crazy nice crocs from ABP.

Thanks Panos! I opted for the 210 so I would have a PAM for dress up situations & ABP will definitely hear from me in the near future.
Sure is nice to have ammo options that look great as well though.

It's always nice to have options !! I also think that 210 goes better with the more refined versions of the ammo straps

They all look good on that 210.

You'll get a hang of the strap change. Best advice I have is a solid but pliable work surface. You can get fancy and get an official one from Panerai, but I find a board with a piece of leather/suede wrapped over it is perfect.

The board is stiff and strong and the leather adds some give so you can lightly push the watch down so it doesn't have a chance to move. I'd bet most scratches come from the domed chrysal sliding around and causing the screwdriver to slip. Not the screwdriver itself slipping. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks Serg!
Not my best wrist-shot but the little guy in the back makes up for it. Wearing a Codman Ammo in this pic.

On a Kostas Ammo in this one.
