BINGO! Tourneau will reel them in with this one. Jeez, and to think I got my Sub because I liked it and could care less about what a female thinks about my watch.

Me too Gaijin.... only in my case, you can stop that quote right after: "Not once has a woman ... liked me or showed interest..."

+1.

The B&R BR 03-92 on the other hand... that one attracted all kinds of comments. Always positive too.

I can only speak of NYC but it happens quite a bit. My wife and sister-in-law joke about how when they're out at bars/clubs and when guys approach them, they place their elbow on the counter and lift up their hand to make sure their watch is clear showing. Its always a big blingy watch.

I see it too... sit at a busy bar in NYC and you can't miss it

Can't be true, it has been said time and again (by that publication) that young people do not care about watches they use their cell phones

when you got no game, you need all the help you can get from your watch.

actually, i am not into the kind of girls that give me her time of day because i have a $$$ watch.

My wife never care about if I am wearing a $20 watch or a $20k one ...

I guess the shallowness of some people literally knows no depth.

The only thing I find more astounding than the level of superficiality is that the people in the article seem happy to be identified.

Tall with blue eyes and good hair > Hobbit with a blinged out watch.

I made it work with Seiko and an old Honda.
