Well as a Scot who loves his Rugby all i have to say is that American Football as it’s called has to be one of the most boring games known to man apart from Cricket and my all time Formula one racing ...all bore me to death.

American Football is an exceedingly complex and nuanced sport, which has also become highly specialized.

I can understand why the uninitiated are bored by the game, but it doesn't really take that much work to get a good understanding of the rules, strategies, and tactics, especially given all the analysis and commentary taking place before, during, and after any given game.

Of course, if you don't have the opportunity to watch the game regularly, learning would be very difficult indeed.

I don't know anything about cricket, but personally, I don't think that F1 is boring at all.

I'll be cheering for the 49er's, but I actually think that the Raven's will win. They seem to have more heart in the game.

Well seeing as the cowboys aren't playing, I am neutral, but I agree with Grady, I always like to see the underdog have his day, so Go Ravens....01.00 am kick off here in SA, but I am up watching it. In my younger days I used to play OT at collage, we battled to beat the US marine team that play down here, full of very fit US collage kids.

Opinions are good, but this thread is about those who do like the sport.

Please feel free to comment on just about anything.
Well i did. That's how i see the game. Rugby is free flowing exciting and with out the need for helmets /padding for an individual play that lasts for around 4 to 5 seconds. Still everyone to there own i say

I watched the first half at my favorite restaurant and I have to say that SF was simply out-classed.

SF showed a general lack of discipline and presence of mind, most notably displayed by the face-mask penalty that set up the second Baltimore touchdown.

I'd sure hate to be in the SF locker room for this very long halftime.

Let's hope they can at least put some points on the board in the second half.

So, far, though, the Ravens have played nearly flawlessly.

I missed the halftime purposely.

I don't know how they manage to shoehorn a football game in between all the hype.

I think pro sports are a colossal waste of time. The only realtion I have to the SuperBowl is that I sometimes have a power failure when my wife starts something I can't finish.

Such an embarrassment to have a power outage like this. About as bad as the 49ers play in this game.

I loved the halftime show- I am a big fan of Beyonce and Destinys Child so they could do no wrong in my mind. I do think she is quite talented and very attractive. Now what's up with the lights???

Seems like a good game but a few missed calls- some offensive pass interference for one any girl could have seen that
