All about taste which is completely subjective. Get whichever one sings to you the most!
For me the GMT works best though...Cheers,

I have all three and they all scratch a different itch. IMHO the SS gmt2c is the clear winner and my favorite SS Rolex.

I own all 3 but don't know which I would choose of the as my only watch. I would likely lean towards the GMT with the DSSD a very close second.

I would go with the GMT or Daytona, DS I don't think of as a daily watch.

I have had all three and sold all three. I do still have a Panerai and "the Hulk" and I will tell you imo and being used to a larger watch, the only one I regret selling is the DSSD.

Everyday watch, depending on wrist size/shape, to me is DSSD. Like the GMT though too.

I would hate to be without my DSSD but it wouldn't be my only watch choice. The sub and GMT are more balanced, for me the PCL would point me towards the sub and to be different the Hulk.......that said it is a personal choice, everyone has their own preferences and you should definitely try them all on to see what is for you.

Quite a dilemma but a great one to have. You can't go wrong with any of the three-all excellent choices. Like others have suggested I would try on all three. If I had to choose, it would be the Daytona. If having a date function is important, than the GMT II would be the most versatile and you'll have a nice chunk of change left over. The DSSD is also a handsome piece, you're getting a date function, substantially more heft, and a higher depth rating. You'll get the vibe soon enough after trying them on and viewing them side by side. If it "sings" to you the loudest, go for it. I would think which watch grabbed my attention first and how long you've wanted to own that particular model.

I have a DSSD and I can say that it is not for everyday, maybe only for days you are or want to feel "macho" ;) I am leaning towards the gmt2c (i don't have one but will sure to get one soon).

Def DSSD. I sold an omega planet ocean and a rare limited edition corum to get the dssd. I now have the datejust 2 tt and my brand new Deepsea. The Deepsea is the best watch ive ever worn and if i have to stick to one that would def be my choice. Good luck with that:))

If you travel across multiple time zones, or work with people located in distant time zones, then the GMT is a great watch. I fly at least monthly to different time zones, and about 3-5 times a year overseas. I have a staff member in Tokyo and customers in Germany, and live in the Central time zone (US). When I am at my home office, I keep the GMT function on Tokyo time so I can quickly see what time it is there.

I love the fact that I can change the hour without stopping the watch.

That being said, I don't have the other two watches. But if you travel a lot, or have colleagues or customers abroad, the GMT feature comes in handy.

I own two of the three. The Daytona is way overpriced, IMO. #1 in my rotation is the Speedy, #2 is the GMT-C, #3 is my OQ.

My vote also goes to the DSSD. This will be my next watch. It actually looks great on my wrist, which really surprised me. Its not really that big. AM.

Tough choice, all 3 are amazing watches. If I had to pick only one, I would go with the Daytona.. Timeless piece.

I own 3 of your 3 Choices, i cant speak highly enough of the DSSD, i wear it almost daily where as i put the others on, and they just dont cut it anymore due to the case size etc , the DSSD make a " Statement" !

Go with your gut feeling not your Brain and it will be the right choice :)

Cheers

Of the 3 you have listed, the SS GMT IIC would get my vote.

I say GMT II C, perfect all arounder. It has a little of everything ceramic, GMT complication, PCL if you like that, sleek black dial, triplock for diving etc etc.

Daytona is not really a tool watch, and the DSSD is definitely a tool watch if a bit over the top

These are great watches. The decision is yours.

I sold, or actually traded, my GMT II to get the DeepSea because the GMT was just too small in the modern watch world. I am extremely happy with the DeepSea.

I absolutely love the Daytona. Will be first and third in line if they make a bigger one. Not buying a Daytona now because, again modern watch world, it is just too small. Look how many girls wearing it now - not a good sign.

This is just my perspective, but I would go with the DeepSea.

The trend is toward a bigger watch. Look at the bigger DeepSea, the Explorer II, the Yachtmaster II, Datejust II, Day-Date II. Rolex is slowly getting with the program, but tastefully. That is why I love Rolex!

Maybe wait until after Basel 2013 and then make your decision?

Best of luck with your search!

yeah GMTII or 2C will be the best way to go... DSSD might be too heavy for everyday wear and daytona, too flashy and dressy. The only one left is the gmt!

DSSD or Daytona, much nicer than the GMT II. Personally I would get the Daytona. DSSD might be a bit large for my thin wrists.

think about how important the date feature is to you...either way you can't go wrong :)
