I understand that the C6 can out perform a testarossa and maybemany other ferraris ... it is just that the newer the corvette, the worse its shape appears to be ...nothing like the old corvettes, that had classic lines and what not .. todays cars are becoming rounder and rounder globs of junk ... they all look the same, like the SUVs do today...one garbage after another ...

All I am stating is the fact that I do not like its shape .... I would not give this car a 2nd look at the stoplight ... but a 3-4 yr old corvette, I would be staring at with my eyes wide open...there is nothing attractive about this C6, except for maybe its performance ... I like how the cars from the old days had linear lines ... like the stingray corvette or the lamborghini countach ... that's style that you don't see today ... Today all you see is "rounded" edges everywhere .... totally disappointed in what these sports car companies are producing...

I remember the original Dodge Viper ... later on Dodge F'ed it up royally ... made it shorter and rounded off the edges and took all the agression out of its looks ...made it into a Toyota Celica! .. totally disappointing...

Great! Let's all judge people by what car they drive. I drive a "garbage" SUV that looks like all the others on the road. Guess I'm just a POS to you.

Like the look of the C6... but I was blown away by the launch of the C7 at the CIAS.

If I was in the market for a 2-seater summer car this would be it. Kudos to GM!

I think you're really confused.

First off, a 3-4 year old Corvette IS a C6; the C6 launched in 2005.

Next, the original Viper was rounded - in fact all the following gen's were more aggressive...

1st gen

Later gen's
