Thanks for all the positive comments.
Yeah it looks like they changed the date dial even though it's not listed on the service agreement. I think it would have not look good with the new dial and maybe that's why they changed it.

The "superlative chronograph certified" lettering is now gone and I think it looks better. More minimalistic this way.

The service cost was $600 and they changed a BUNCH of parts on it. New hands, new dial, new clasp, new crown and many more.

Again, I am very pleased with it and more importantly, so it's my wife :)
