23. Started off taking 15-18 hours per semester and then asked "what's the rush" and took 12 per semester until I was finished. I worked 2 part-time jobs as well. 1 as a bus driver for the university and was also a part-time alcoholic Thursday-Saturdays.

22. Different time then....I had $2500 of debt coming out, only $5800 in today's dollars. Work study (job), savings, grants got me through.

University of Wisconsin now much more selective. Never even bothered to take SAT to get in...my, how times have changed. A "C" average in a WI high school got you admitted in those days....then they would weed you out.

Yup, loved studying advertising. Really neat to hear you majored in it too! I worked at a couple of well known ad agencies for a few years, but it's been a long time since I've worked in that industry.

Finished undergrad at 21, and grad school at 23. I went to school full-time. Worked nights as a bartender and restaurant line cook in undergrad, and as a graduate assistant while completing my MBA.

Kudos to you for working full time while earning your degree.

Whatever ever age you attend or finish, it is a worthwhile investment!

Never graduated as that was not my goal in college. I am very non-traditional.
I took classes that interested me and designed my own "degree" then started working for myself using that knowledge.

Got drafted into military out of high school (Vietnam era); first became a licensed A&P aircraft mechanic, then graduated BA at 28, MBA at 30, second post grad degree at 35. No students loans ever...... used GI Bill plus just paid over and above costs as I went.
