My wife wants one very similar to what you bought your wife. What does the clasp look like on the ladies oyster bracelet? Is it similar to the sub, with the flip-lock??

Congrats, that blue dial is incredible. Your wife must be pretty impressed with her DJ too, it looks very classy.

It does not have a fliplock. It's the new style Oyster clasp. It's REALLY nice. It has an initial small hinge that releases the clasp, before the larger opens up.

Perhaps someone can point to a good thread with its functionality.

Our first evening with our Rolex's was enjoyable, talking about how much we like looking at them on our wrists. Laura is very pleased with Rosie, and I love her watch too! After opening the boxes and taking the pics I shared with you, I wrapped them up to present when we met at the AD. I'll post those pics too. At 22+ hours later, it is running +/- 0 sec., so I hope that continues as it "settles in." In the next few days, I'll be packing up the SMP and sending it into the Omega service center in Chicago to get it running right again. After a day with Bluesy, there really is no excuse to have a watch losing 28 sec/day.

Wow, an Omega running 30 seconds fast a day.

Odd, indeed.
