Thanks Puffy....I would have not bought this timepiece regardless based on the fact that since it's Plat, we would be paying an arm and a leg....and NOW...it does not even look appealing....not to me at least....I am not sure why they chose that color bezel with an ice blue dial....this is disappointing.

It's an atrocious iteration IMO....talk about ruining a truly classy timepiece.

I am sorry, but that thing is just ugly as S***. Great collectors piece in 40 years because nobody is going to want to buy it... What were they thinking?

it's under some pretty harsh lighting.....

i think a black ceramic would have been too much contrast with the platinum and glacier dial. the brown is softer, in a good way.

and definitely unique.

i like it and am looking forward to seeing it and holding it (platinum goodness) to know for sure.

for me, i MUCH prefer this to last year's chocolate daytona.

Are you serious? The chocolate daytona is sexy
This is the opposite. At least the chocolate had harmony in colors
Not a clash of poo coloured brown and glaciers

very, very serious. the black and brown is just way too lush, over-indulgent and heavy-looking for my taste. totally the opposite of sexy in book. hey, we each have our own taste.

as for the color harmony of the new daytona, i think seeing it in person will help.

Now that Rolex has perfected the Brown Ceramic Bezel on the Daytona, could we soon see a new Root Beer GMT2 Ceramic?!

Has anyone slapped a bracelet on the cerachrom model? It's doable right? I'm sure the bracelet isn't cheap though.

The brown colour in the second shot is pretty awful, such a shame as the ice blue goes so well with platinum.

What I don’t get is who signs off on this stuff?

Agreed!

The way I see it is I've now been on this planet 36 years and I have never ever seen these two colours mixed together - that means to me either I've been hiding under a rock so long I've missed this fad or these were never meant to be put together. I'm leaning toward the latter.

Rolex just seem so out of touch with modern society, I mean who on their right mind would actually buy this?

AP Montauk Highway has this colour combo and its not a bad looking watch tho a little too feminine for me on the muscular ROO. Just a total waste on platinum tho.
