Here we go...

Big box

Hmmm...

Sweet pear wood...

Does that plaque say SPECIAL EDITION?!

It's the 448 California!

Wrist shot!!!

Thanks to Thanh for a fantastic trade. This watch is AWESOME! Love the plexi, blue hands and dial. PERFECT! I now see the 424 as a bit asymmetrical and glad I chose this one.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. The fact that this is an SE with the in-house movement made my decision much easier. The 372 was a close second but feel that this one is more wearable for my wrist.

It fits you perfectly, my friend! You should make another thread by itself with a lot beautiful pics and the cigar.

P.s you should get pam 372 too because it looks good on your wrist as well. and then you will have a beautiful pair of luminor and rad.

Thanks Gents. I'll take more pics today in the sun.

I was away from Panerai for a while, having owned the 176 two years ago. The new 47mm cases are outstanding. I kept away thinking they were going to wear too large. The trip to the boutique earlier in the week really opened my eyes.

The 372 hands down.

IWC BIg Pilot is nice, but it doesn't wear comfortable for small hands like yours (and mine).

EDIT: Whoops! The california? EVEN BETTER! You didn't include that in the original post LOL. Would've picked it. I didn't like the date feature on 424, its just wrong.

Cabaiguan,

Sorry for dredging up such an old thread but this Panerai looks great on you! My understanding is that the 448 is now sold out, replaced by the 424 (no blue hands, sapphire crystal, dial with logo).

Do you still have the 448 and enjoy it? How large is your wrist, if you don't mind my asking?

John
