Well guys - thanks for all the warm welcomes and the advise. After spending some time trying them on and staring at my computer I have narrowed it down somewhat.
I am looking at a GMT-Master II gold with black dial and bezel OR a Sub TT with blue dial and bezel. Although............. I do like the look of the GMT-Master II with the black and blue bezel. Knowing each of these is very different makes this just that much tougher. From what I have read - is a 5%-10% discount on a new watch reasonable? Is this discount something readily available from most retailers? |

Thanks guys for the warm welcomes and the advice.
Well.......after trying a few on and spending some time in front of my computer I have it narrowed down somewhat. I am liking the TT Sub with the blue dial and bezel ALSO the GMT-Master II gold with the black dial and bezel. I also like the look of the new GMT-II with the black and blue bezel. Knowing each of these is so different is making this tough. Any further advice? Is a 5%-15% discount reasonable to strive to achieve in today's market place. Thanks |

I'm personally not a fan of yellow gold and blue so of those, I would choose the GMT2 in black. You can get good discounts on the TT and Gold models but don't get your hopes up on the new GMT2 with black and blue (beaten?) bezel, it's only just been released and there will likely be a lot of demand.
