For such a big watch, it wears very comfortably. I'm guessing its a combination of the big surface area and the wide 26mm strap.

Agree the wide strap is a size neutralizer,
It feels great & is comfortable in any of 3 holes... (Please hold the jokes)

You narrowing down your decision?

Only that I want a 47mm PAM. That 127 is SO SEXY and I do so love domed Panerai's.

It's the same size as the 372 and I thought that fit you fine.

I thought they were both 47mm? Aside from different thickness lugs don't they share the same case?

How do you know it isn't a 127?

Case is slightly diff, 372 may be (?) slightly more curved.
1 is called a 1950 case , the is unclear as to the name (according to the salesperson @ my recent trip to OP boutique.

The newer one has a straight ridge along the side edge vs the older ( original) that has a gentle continuous curve.

What kills me is that no single model is "perfect" in my eyes. I love the case shape and domed crystal of the 127, dial layout of the 372, and PR display in back of the 422.

Precisely why I am yet to pull the trigger on any of these 3 ...

True. All three are great. But I will say that the case on the 372/422 is so cool and sleek. The 1950 case to my eye is more rugged and bulky. Still the 127 is to die for. Too many choices. No one perfect PAM.
