Great choice! Not a fan of the Day/Night so far, perhaps it will grow on me.

Out of interest, how is "bruiser" a superhearo?
Surely that would be better suited to Batman?

£5950 not a penny discount, I even took the full amount in cash to tempt them, but the answer was still no

5950, not discount even though I paid with cash

I'm just considering sourcing a sub strap now as I hear the glide lock system is very precise on the wrist, I need a very specific tight fit, which is hard to achieve
What's your thoughts?

Personally, I would never modify my Rolexes. But yes, the glide lock system is really cool, having it on the Hulk. It's your call really? If you think its what you prefer in terms of fitting, go for it.

Yea, Prestons wouldn't give a single cent off it. Though I got 2 free umbrellas and £180 "voucher" each, which I can use to contribute to a full service.

Wow that's brilliant, I was just expected to buy it with no freebies!
Are the vouchers official rolex or Preston's service vouchers?

Btw try switching ur bezel to the way I have done it. Makes the the whole day/night concept easier to read, so during the day u know its light so u look to the top half of the watch for the time and vice versa

Surely when your 24 hour hand is at the top, it's night out anyway? (ie: midnight)
Perhaps try move your 24 hour hand to the bottom like everyone else

what...?
the GMT hand has really nothing to do with dial per se. That's the reason for the 24 hour bezel, because what happens when the hour hand goes all the way around to 2200 hrs it'll be in the day mode?!?. I guess you could do what you said but then why get a GMT if you're not timing another zone. I would of just got a Sub.

Who doesn't love a new Rolex? A honeymoon period is always fun.
