just how great is glidelock?

ok, im currently saving/ trying to decide on my next watch. i dont really want to get into that debate, but the DSSD is one of the two.

walking around a local art fair today i def. could have used some micro adjustment. it was about 90deg and sunny. my wrist swelled and the watch obviously became to tight. well, is the glidelock the tipping point to sway me? everyone says its easy to adjust, and awesome for this situation. or is it not as big of a deal?
just wanted to hear some thoughts.
