Bezel and movement and "tough" reset button it's engineering a watch for doing the most pointless feature in watchmaking - dont mean to offend but the watch offends me. Smarter solution would be something like this countdown and have it countdown something useful like upto 60 minutes then I'd be into it and many others I'd imagine,
Richard and Maria make a great product and, more importantly, at a great price point. Kudos to them.

That said, many watch complications are "pointless" in today's world. To say one particular complication or watch "offends" you, well that's just... odd.

There's just something about the SS YMII. I've always respected the precious metal ones, but I could see myself wearing this one. The colors just work.

I think that's what does it for me! The blue SubC is one of my favorites. It makes sense that the SS YM2 would appeal to me.

I've got a brand new SS GMT IIC arriving at the office by midday today, i will get the YG GMT when the exchange rate improves towards the end of the year. it's too rich now and i can sit tight.

I'm passing through lots of airports before xmas so hoping to snap up the SS YM2 tax free or like you say wait until TRF prices have come down. would prefer buying from here but as of now, it's even cheaper to get in the EU

Love the looks!
I'm waiting to see what happens with pricing. As hot as it is, I'm not parting with 18k+ for one.

Sits very large on the wrist. Not a criticism at all, just my first thought.

Have fun with your new toy!!

I wonder if Rolex hires watch designers or if they just rely on suggestions from the assembly line workers.

Functionality aside, YM's in general are a bit blingy for me.

The gold steel version much better. IMO the all steel is just so bland and price still high not worth it

The SS doesn't stick out half a fraction of what the YG does..

when prices come down a little it's much better value than the PM refs...

Sadly, you can get a used TT YM2 for the same money or throw in another $15k to upgrade to YG.
