Thanks Guys...... I appreciate all the feedback.

After a good night sleep I've decide to keep the watch.

I work on the premise that if I need the cash I can always sell it and if I lose a couple of dollars (which I doubt anyway) so be it.
I'd rather do that than hand the watch back and wish I hadn't of.
The prices in Australia are no different to anything else. Most things are considerably more expensive than in the USA. The basic wages is $16.50 vs. $9.00 so it's all relative. The likelihood of finding another watch in the same condition at that price is extremely slim so I'll pull the trigger.

Here are a few more pics I too a few minutes ago.
Glorious winters day here in Sydney.... Max of 23oC (74oF)... Not bad for the middle of winter eh!

100% keep it if you can afford to. I just paid£3100 for the same watch but needing a service etc I also have a 16710ln incoming which I am figuring as my new daily wear . That said the 16750 as a keeper with a couple spare bezels and a jubilee maybe the way to go and i flip the later gmt2 lets see how I feel when it lands.

I like the idea of varying inserts and Jubilee bracelet.
It actually gives you 6 different combinations.

Excellent choice, you have a great looking watch. Here are my 1969 and 1971 GMT's- I sold the 1971 with the jubilee to a member here on TRF. As you have said previously, lots of color and bracelet options make this such a great watch to own...
