To the OP, it would seem that a lot of folks are making their choice based on color preference as opposed to case material preference; do you prefer yellow over orange, or vice versa?

For me the FC was a slam dunk, not only for the forged carbon, but also because I'm a fan of the yellow/black colorway (it's also featured on my JLC NSA Incursion, IWC AT 2000, Seiko Solar Chronograph and, to a lesser extent, my IWC AT Galapagos). Now, if the FC Diver were orange and the Ceramic Diver were yellow, my choice would be much more difficult, as I'm not a fan at all of the dull shade of orange AP chose, yet I'm a huge fan of forged carbon.

FC , more unusual material and AP speciality really , you can always get fc and flip for ceramic later...unless not keen on the yellow ...both are great so no wrong choice
