Looks great, happy birthday to your Sub! One thing that I don't do which seems to really minimize scartches is to never wipe the watch when it's dirty. It's hard to do sometimes, but dirt is abrasive. I'll rinse it under water before I run any type of cloth on it. Mine is coming up on the six month point and all I have are a few scratches on the bracelet and clasp. Also when I do dry it after it's been cleaned I alwayd dry the bracelat and clasp "with the grain" of the brushing.
Not that these watches need any babying. Yours looks just like it should in my opinion. Don't forget that if you so desire at service time those scratch memories can all be removed.

Looks about right after a year and it's good to see you're wearing it! I don't see anything there that won't come out at the next service. I'm sure your son would much prefer a watch which reminds him of you than one that sat in the safe..

My Sub C is now eight months old and looks pretty much like yours does. Mine is a daily wearer too and while it sounds like your careful scratches are obviously going to happen. I thinkI your watch looks great!!! All I do to keep her clean is wash with a little dish soap and a high quality horse hair brush to get the grime out of the cracks. Congrats on one year. Wear it in the best of health. Cheers
