Honestly, I don't think owning a Rolex has ever worked as an attractant for me with the ladies. BUT, I think certain Rolexes, certain other watches too, impart at certain charm on the men wearing them. It wasn't the Rolex EXP or Sub I wore in college that got me what I wanted. It was the confidence I had, maybe brought on by the Rolex, that made me comfortable around women.
I have heard women remark to one another though about watches, so they do notice from time to time.

Nope, and I wouldn't be interested if they were so influenced by a Rolex.

It'd probably get you somewhere with this one...
Then again, you may be in for a big surprise... (do the opportunities ever quit presenting themselves?)

No. A young lady that I was dating in the mid 1990's saw my ND Sub and remarked "Wow, Is that a Rolex ?" We quit dating a few weeks later. I believe it's not the watch that gets the ladies, but mostly your confidence level, personality, wit, and "ability".

I agree. Besides that, I personally wouldn't want to attract any women through noticing <insert name of treasured item of property here>. If I did, I'd be wearing layered gold chains across my chest wig, a pinky ring, and a gold wrist chain rather than my SD and short hair cut.

I'm not single or dude but what I think is, having a Rolex on their wrist gives you guys the confidence to think you can impress the ladies and it is that that the ladies like, not the Rolex.

Why does it get them wet? Are you leaking antifreeze?

Thank you Lisa... I think the 'spirit' in which I posted that went a bit awry...

Well, you know, Pat - that photo (Jocke's work, is it not?) worried me silly until I finally figured out that was JJ's mug on her. I've even seen the actual photo and she's actually quite a fetching woman. With a sense of humor, no doubt.

All right, I've got to set the record straight and give credit where it's due. This is PAT's (Incurable) photo editing talent at work, here! He's just too nice to correct me in public!

I do not think that wearing a certain type of a watch or driving the hottest car in the city matters as much as how you carry and present yourself. A nice Citizen or Seiko watch is still a nice watch. Polished shoes are always polished shoes. A black suit that fits you well will always be in style.
If you don't have style and if you cannot carry yourself with confidence, then no Rolex will save you. |
