I had the same dilemma a few weeks ago, although I think its a different style watches. Finally the GMT was my final call. Just follow your instinct. I did the same !

If cost isn't a concern, I'd choose YMII. It's an awesome watch and one I struggle with just because of cost...steel, no date. But it look great IMO (fortunately the "YACHMASTER II" doesn't bother me on the ceramic, bugged me on the gold models) feels great on my wrist and the size is ideal for me. Interesting timer function as well for when I cook pasta (I don't see any yachts in my future).
From what I've seen 15 off from an AD on a new steel YMII is good. May you get a better deal as more come onto the market? Maybe. But there could be a price increase, so you could end up in same spot or worse. |
