I suppose you could fly over there empty handed, then come back wearing it?
For people who really want to ship a Rolex from another country to the US.. it's too bad you couldn't ship it via Rolex... from one RSC to another? For a cost, of course. But then again.. there are so many here on TRF and other places for sale, as well as AD's... why would you need to? |

Break it down and ship it as parts, like you would with a car or bike. Actually, that might invalidate the warranty, if it's a new watch. Forgive me, I was thinking vintage....

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at Los Angeles International Airport seized 215 counterfeit luxury watches in early August, including ones purportedly made by Rolex, Cartier, Omega and Louis Vuitton, federal officials said Tuesday. The watches were found Aug. 8 after they arrived from China as air cargo. The goods were listed on a shipment manifest as watches with a declared value of $173 and a weight of 68 pounds. Customs officers assigned to LAX inspected the cargo and found the apparently name-brand watches, officials said. Authorities did not say which airline the watches were flown in on. Had the watches been real, they would have been worth roughly $1.25 million, customs officials said. According to officials, watches and jewelry represent about 8 percent of the total number of seizes made annually by U.S. customs officers nationwide. — By Brian Sumers |

This is always on my mind, but from shipping from the states to the UK. So many sellers are from the USA which isn't a bad thing being the mighty power you are , but I'm always thinking about the risks involved, ie lost in transit etc! Not to mention our 20% VAT! Almost would be cheaper to flyover injoy some sun for a change and wear the gem back
