Well here's another photo for you. Mine is sized for a 6.5" wrist and unless your wrist is smaller than 6" you shouldn't have to remove a permanent link.

Yes I wear mine as a daily wearer. It's a Rolex, it can handle your everyday activities and more. Just get older watches pressure tested before getting in the water. And yes, it's lighter and less "rigid" than the newer models with the heavier bracelets.
