Liquid Rolex
Looking for opinions with this scenario considered:
I'm saving for a grail. I have some cash. Cash is boring. I want a watch while I continue to save for the grail. But when that time comes, I'll need to sell the $9k watch(es). I'm posting here because I love Rolexes. Vintage, contemporary, sport, dressy, yellow, white, steel, gold, both...you name it, I probably love it if it's an Oyster Perpetual and 36mm or bigger. So the question: If you had $9k to buy a watch (or two...) that you needed to sell after a few months without losing your shirt, what would you get? I'm thinking Rolex for liquidity, but I'm open to other suggestions? And for all who say "get what you like," well...I'm saving for what I like and would rather "buy and flip" than keep cash in the meantime... Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
