I must admit that when I bought my gold and TT watches, the last thing on my mind was how much actual gold was in the watch.......
They are what they are and whether those cavities in the case or bracelet were there or not, it would make absolutely no difference to me..... I would still buy the watches because of the look, style, image, usefulness as well as the obvious horological history of the brand etc etc. The amount of gold in terms of value is a fraction of the cost of the watch itself and to be so focussed on the amount of gold is, in my opinion, really missing the point of why most of us buy gold Rolex watches......just my 2 cents...... |
