It's your watch so you can do what you want with it. Just keep in mind that it will definitely affect resale value should you decide to part with it one day if you don't change it back. Personally, I like it the way it comes from the factory.

I don't intend to sell it. If I ever needed to sell the watch I can always have it polished back, it's not something that is not reversible. I like to have items that are intervidual to me, and it's a look I like it gives the watch a far more tool look. I hate the way modern rolex's look, they are just jewellery that tell the time.

That is exactly what I want. The watch is totally tool, and not dressy at all. I absolutely love it!

Totally agree its 39mm no crown guards too and trust me on a bracelet or nato it would be a killer tool watch. Pure classic - would you go for explorer with no lume on 369 induces or lumed 369 indices - can't wait to see it. When will you get it done ?

I am due to pick the watch up by next weekend, so will make sure it's done by the time I collect it. I am going for the bezel and sides brushed just like the bracelet.

Well it's a 2011 explorer 39mm so as far as I am aware the 369 is not lumed.

From what I have read the 39mm 369 is not lumed. The 369 and hands are and marker surrounds are white gold I think. I hope it's in lumed.

I cannot post a pic but the 39mm explorer 369 is not lumed, the markers and hands are lumed in blue. The watch is awesome and with the brushed bezel and sides.

I have decided to only brush the bezel, as if I am correct the sides of the bracelet are polished, so I think the watch would look better with the head polished on the sides.
