Beautiful piece, and it always surprised me that it wasn't more popular as a semi formal, semi sport piece. My TT with white dial is great for all occasions

LOVE this watch in this color combo. Why was it such a poor seller?

I'd like someday to own one.

T-Birds are nice - one of my Docs wears one and I think about getting one every so often...

Shame the TOGs were discontinued. Such a unique Datejust. Good for you that you got one NIB.

One of the AD's here are offering these watches at a BIG discount... When I looked at one the other day, they were kind of "down" on them. Not sure why.

I think these are great looking watches and I love that blue face!

I have a similar watch for sale on TRF right now. Mine has the Oyster band (solid end links, polished center links), and was recently serviced at the Dallas RSC. It never had a problem: The service was just preventative maintenance. This allows a tranferrable world-wide Rolex warranty until April 2015, and guarantees all internal parts are Rolex. All boxes and records are included. I bought it new from an AD. I want to go yellow gold for my next Rolex, but the white gold/stainless makes for an all-around great watch for every occasion. Enjoy your Turn-O-Graph's!

Tony, that camera seem to be working out pretty good for you. Nice pics.

Unfortunately it is true. The TOG has been discontinued by Rolex but you can still find one occasionally BNIB at an AD.

Thanks very much, everyone. I'm so glad that there's been such a positive response, actually, because it's such an undervalued reference.

There are indeed a few NOS examples dotted around, from what I can make out. Certainly worth snapping up because they'll only get less common.

I never should have clicked on this thread.

I hope you are right about the NOS still being around. I just fired off an email to my favorite trusted seller.
