I have been eyeing this watch for some time...trying to decide if two DJII's would fit in my small collection...you may have pushed me over the edge. Wow, what a beauty.

The champagne dial looks nice but I for some reason like the slate dial a little bit better. Champagne does look a lot more classic and it does stand out but I like how the slate goes with the Roman numerals
And that blue dial looks gorgeous. |

Both of the faces are great. Switching once in a while is a good idea

I'm thinking of changing a dial as well.
Did you purchase the new dial from Rolex? What did they charge for the change - did you have to give up your old dial? Was it part of a service or just a dial change? Congratulations - looks great!! |

Thanks Alex!
I had RSC swapped the dials and they kept the old dial. It's best you source a dial from third party which is what I should have done. Are you planning on changing your DDII dial? |

Thank for the info...
Considering changing the black roman to something else. My thought is that the black dial is a bit plain - I might like a little reflection / depth. We'll see.. |

I agree black has lack of depth and can't wait what you will decide.

Glad you had Phong confirm RSCs dastardly dial swap scheme as losing a DD2 dial unexpectedly would really hurt.

Champagne, blue & black are the ones I like most.

Hey Phong, great dials! I'm thinking about switching my blue Roman to a blue stick. I asked my AD what would be involved and they said that it would have to be shipped to Switzerland to get the swap. I was a bit surprised at that response. So my question for you is, where did you go to get your swap? The service centre on St. Clair Ave? How long did it take?
