Patek. Although I'd go 5711 or 5726.

116619 gets my vote. The Nautilus does nothing for me.

Patek
I can't see the point of a wg or any precious metal Rolex when you get the same movement in the ss version. It's a bit like putting whitewall tires and a vinyl roof on a Chevy.

Well I think my Chevy's with vinyl roofs and whitewall tires looks damn good!

I went WG SubC and SS 5711. The 5712R just didn't do anything for me.

As noted above, I thought the WG Sub was more like a 25k watch?

Objectively, I like the white dial nautilus.. but as objectively, it is after rolex in reliability and accuracy terms.
Nautilus: slimmer but awfuly expensive as it is only 316L, average accuracy and average reliability (see the date problems). WG sub: sportier, ok. But gold, reliable, accurate. It is my grail!

Patek for me, I just happen to love that particular reference.

At that price point, I would choose an 18K Rolex over a stainless steel Patek.
If the choice is for an 18K Patek vs an 18K Rolex, I think the Patek becomes more appealing. |

I'd take the Patek but the 5711 over the 5712.

I'd still pick the Patek in this case but only because I didn't get warm fuzzies when I tried on the smurf. |

Hard because a Patek is a... Patek ! But ... The 116619 is one of the best looking watches to my eyes so that one for me and offcourse the look and feel of white gold is much nicer.
