A jubilee might look ok, the leather ruins the look to me.

I quite like it just for a change up look.

Its not like you are marketing them is it?

It saves wear on the bracelet and is lighter for everyday.

There are some rubber B straps with a custom lug shape that look ok and would make the strap package more 'waterproof'.

The blue alligator with the blue dial, doesn't jive. I really don't like blue leather. I think a nato or maybe a brown or suede strap would be better.

The strap is gorgeous! But it doesn't match the watch. Sorry! For the longest time I wanted a blue alligator strap on my op no date. Never got around to it.

What about rubber/silicon strap rather than leather?

This is from Everest... They are perfect fit and you can fit it straight onto your original clasp.

(Sorry I don't have a TT to show you the effect but check out the blue dial and the strap, it is almost a perfect color match!)

For TT clasp.. (Sorry this is not the blue strap and this is on a GMTIIC)

First post at the forum :-)
But maybe someone have a tip where i can find good quality end links for a 16613. Would like to try a leather strap on my sub and i like the new look the end links do for the watch.

I think it would look much better with a rubber strap that fits to the case

IMO

Six digit subs need end links on leather due to to the disproportionate case design.

Its a dive/sport watch so I would put on a blue rubber strap if you wanted a change but not a dressy leather crock strap.

^^ To OP, this! Bluesy with a matching rubber strap looks great and functional. Much better choice than a this leather strap in my opinion.

It might be classified as a dive sport watch....but, the TT sub on bracelet is more a dress watch IMO. So, on the blue croc it looks dressy too...I see no problem and actually like it!

While I respect your opinion, from someone who owns a few TT Rolex sport models, they are not a dress watch. They can certainly do “dressy” and go with anything (wore my TT black Sub with a tux at my wedding) or look equally great in jeans. A leather finished, shiny crock strap is solidly designed to be on a dress watch and IN MY opinion, looks like a saddle on a sow i.e. doesn’t belong.

What’s great is it doesn’t matter what we think. If the OP likes it, I’m happy for him.

If you are doing leather, it needs to be a thicker leather strap. A dress strap doesn't look right.

it works for me. Definitely much more understated than the two-tone bracelet (which is a bit of an acquired taste).

But then, I wear my GMT on a black croc strap, so clearly I like this look in general.

No, for two reasons:

1) The color of your strap doesn't match the blue of the dial/bezel.
2) The TT bracelet is gorgeous, why wouldn't you want to wear it??

But if it makes your wife happy, do what you must!

The only alternative to the already amazing TT bracelet is Rubber B - Pacific Blue period.

Lugs are just too wide for the strap. Sorry, but normal straps just don't look good on the super case.

I like the bluesy best on a bracelet, so I’m not a fan of leather straps. I’ve seen a few nice looking rubber straps though.
