THE ALGARVE???!!!!! (Throbbing vain on temple). THE ALGARVE???!!!!! Am I a Brit? No! Am I a German? No! No my friend, this picture was taken near the small fishermens town of Ericeira, this is where we stay if we go to Portugal. It's about an hour by car from Lisbon, on the Atlantic coast. Very relaxed and laid-back.

This is my favorite watch photo of 2005. It's hard to beat the watches or the location.

LOL... I have been to Ericeira... the world surf championships were held there a number of years ago. Great place, quiet and that coastal road is a blast to drive!

Yep, I was there in 2001, in Ericeira particular about 7-10 days after the 9/11 attack. I went into 'a' bar... can't remember the name. But I was the one driving a white Peugeot 206 4-door without wheel covers.

[QUOTE=comatox]anything from April 30th 2005, the day I got married on a beach in Jamaica.

Wow, what a coincidence! I was married on the beach in Belize on April 29, 2005. Congratulations!

Here's a photo. We had a tough time getting good photographs -- the sun was in or eyes, the wind was at our backs, and the guy in the Hawaiian shirt kept getting in front of the photographer.

How about one of me and my dog? AND you can see my Rolex. By the way, can someone, please, tell me how to make the picture embedded, and not included as a thumbnail?

Review Adrian's post, Tim. That will give you hints on how to embed pics.

First picture posting on this site

Please bear with me if this doesn't work: but it's a picture of our house (on the Island) that we (nearly) finished having renovated in 2005 - hence I like the picture, even if it doesn't have great photographic qualities We still don't live there, due to working elsewhere, but we'll get there eventually!

Let's see if this works....

(Thanks to Earl to get it to embed properly...)

I'll try a smaller pic: our boat in lumpy seas last January....

and that works too.... great!

Hi Nick

The link worked perfectly. Beautiful house. Let's see some interior pics as well.

Thanks JJ

I plan to do a set of interior shots when we finally manage to move in and put our own touches to the house (its well over 200 years old and there's still quite a lot to do inside). As I've discussed with Shane many times, we have loaned it out to good friends, who have put up with - and helped out with - enormous building problems during the time we have been camping out in the West Country.

It'll be worth it though! (BTW, the beach and mooring jetty is at the bottom of the garden). I'll look out some other shots soon when I can get to the main archive computer - I've got a feeling that Shane already has (had?) some.
