You rang?

Sad to see the Anderson estate go. Hopefully the new owners will be as kind as the Anderson family was. I happened by once and managed to get in a few laps in the ocean nearby. Been by several times. Like many old families in HI, I suspect they are land rich and cash poor.

TSM is an honorary member of the krewe, principally for being the only thing on tele in the weeks after 9/11 when I was off duty (LEO) that wasn't yet another parade of horrors from my friend's final resting place. The stories of Tom and Rick and TC and esp JQH always made me smile and remind me of why I was doing my job. They still do.

Secondly, Tom (and Bellasario) will always be in my good graces for being the first show to portray Vietnam vets with a positive light. As such, everything associated with the show kinda makes me smile. In fact, just the other day during one of my trail rides as I was negotiating a particularly nasty set of ledges and thorns on my bike, I uttered my famous (borrowed) mantra:

Never mind the dogs, just work the lock!

It is interesting that the taxes are only $2300/mo.
It would be an interesting property to own, but I'm a bit, quite a bit, short.

Very cool!

Watched that show regularly back in the day. Those shorts though, ouch! Hope they don't make a fashion return any time soon.
