I'm with Tom!

Wear it, just don't use it as a hammer. You'll be fine!

It's your only choice; eventually, life will happen to the watch.

From the descriptions here, and my own experience, I wouldn't call them flaws, just examples of minor wear and tear - scratches, swirls on the bracelet and the like. The watches themselves are not flawed, just the owners ;)

On the bracelet and case, minor scratches add character to the watch, IMHO, unless they're very bad, especially the case. If it were the crystal, I'd be very upset, indeed!!!*LOL* ;-)

I wear them and try not to look to close. More enjoyable on the wrist than in a drawer.

This is hard to explain but some of you will know where I'm coming from;
I find that when I notice some "character" on one of my watches it enables me to wear that watch more freely.

I am ok only with those made by me. I would not accept any from the factory.

What you described aren't flaws. I love my Rolex and if I happen to mark it up I call myself a dumbass, get over it and continue to love it.
Life goes on and our relationship is stronger.

They are liberating if you allow them to be. Owning a Rolex to get dinged or scratched is a good problem to have.

I have one from 1978-1979 and it's got character. I don't need to change anything about it. The bracelet rattles, the crystal isn't scratch free, the bezel is really tight, but it's mine and that is what counts the most.

I have a cardigan which was fashionable over 30 years ago, yes I did type fashionable, which I paid £60 odd pounds for, I've still got it, baggy with buttons missing it may be, but what a lovely feeling it is to wear it (only in the confines of my house I have to add), that's the way I want to feel about my one and only (at the moment) Rolex in thirty years time!!! If that makes sense.

I wear every watch I own and none have flaws.

They all have evidence of use, just what they are made for

Agree, scratches on a crystal or the AR coming off are the things that I can't accept. Everything else is fine.

Hardy Amis once said...take great care choosing what to wear and getting ready...then forget everything about it.
I think they look better worn in than brand new.

I have a small scratch on my crystal @ 4 and I have no idea how it got there. You can only see it at certain angles and given my watch was about 3 weeks old at bothered me at first. Now I don't even see it. Small swirlies on the bracelet no big deal. I try and take care of my stuff but don't fret.
