Good that AD changed the watch instead of asking you to sent it to RSC instead.
Send in compliments to Rolex instead of how responsible AD was. Plus the complaint as well.

OP - Can't see why you'd want to make a noise to Rolex 4 months later; then was the time to get irate.

BTW - Pic too blurry to see properly. Show us your new 114060, nice and clear.

Given that the AD resolved the issue, why would you complain to Rolex? It appears like the dial feet broke off the dial causing it to spin. All companies have manufacturing defects. If it's resolved then what's the point of antagonizing anyone?

IMHO I think Rolex might actually be happy to receive the input (not a complaint) as part of their quality work - but the retailer has probably already reported the incident.

Yeah i think he will have reported it so i wont write. Maybe complaint wasnt the right word anyway because i am made up with the Sub.

Tried it with a leather strap but after 2 days went back to the steel bracelet. Such a great watch !

Wow, never ever saw anything like that before. The only letter that I'd write would be to Rolex commending the great job of the AD taking care of the problem.

Letter of complaint? I would have been fine with rolex servicing the watch and fixing the issue. Your AD went above and beyond and gave you a new watch. I would be writing a thank you letter highlighting the exceptional service of your AD.

Prior to this occurring, were you, per chance, doing any activities that would cause your watch to become submersed in alcoholic beverages?

If so, i can readily see this happening; just sayin'

Yes, DD, that's exactly what he did. I can't see any obvious damage. Of course, it could take a while to start flaking off.... Still, better than being on GMT when your living in EST!

I would sent a note to rolex. That's an embarrassment. Things like this should be brought to their attention. And I wouldn't be surprised if they even sent you a small gift as a thank you.

I believe that is the rare Salvador Dali limited edition SD.

All kidding aside.. that is really crazy. Glad it was resolved correctly.

It is not the face which slipped, it is the bezel which is misaligned ¨^¨^
