great looking COMPLETE set!! Awesome you have both bracelets...I don't know why but I love the jubilee on the 16710 but prefer the two tone oyster on the root beer...

Well, I had my Root Beer all of 24 hours when a guy I know
(devoted Red Sub owner) looked at my RB and said "Wow,are you willing to sell it"
His offer was more than what I paid, but I gently refused his kind offer.
Then today he phoned to see if I would re-consider selling, this time he had increased
his offer. But the RB is staying with me, I want some time to enjoy it.

Congrats and welcome to the exclusive, yet achievable "Red Sub and Rootbeer Club":

I used to have a Root Beer! That is one piece that I REALLY regret selling...As luck would have it, I located a Y serial root beer at a local pawn shop...Pristine condition, gold through the buckle of the oyster bracelet, and solid end links!!! I think a buying price is somewhere in the mid 5's...This thread is not helping me or my bank account out!! What to do...

This watch was never on my radar until this past weekend when a friend was wearing one and let me try it on. I'm now in love and my wife actually thinks it's a good idea to get one which is extremely rare!
