The classic black dial will never go out of style. The same may not be true for the green.

I am loving green today! Love having it in rotation!!

And in different lights it can look black at times. Love the way the green changes colors...Such a cool dial and one almost has to see in person to understand! Either way green or black both winners as the 718 as it is a super watch! Cheers,

And according to someone in the YG YMII or YG SKD thread YG will slowly come back into style so that is good for both.

I just went through this a couple months ago.....ended going black dial because I liked the green date and green 4th hand more, also I wanted a traditional everyday watch, even though it all gold. I'm usually an outta the box kind of guy, but didn't want this watch to scream out to people. I still get the nice watch, but don't feel like people see it from a mile away. My Daytona is still the unique piece out of my 2 gold watches.

I think the YG GMTc looks best in green dial...
It is unique and people won't mistake it for the YG SUBc

I don't think that's a leading concern of owners.

Yeah, anyone who mistakes a GMT for a Sub doesn't know watches so the dial is irrelevant.

I prefer the black dial. Scanning the classifieds there seems to be more green dialed 718s on sale vs the black dial so perhaps less demand on the green?

I have the green dial, but I tend to wear it little because the color and my need to have it match. If I had the black dial, even though the GMT hand is green, it would get more wrist time.

Most of my watches have a black dial, so I would say green in this case.

I'm curious to see what time will do to the green dial.
